Dear Vog,
You are making it e x t r e m e l y difficult for me. I am sorry if I cursed your friend, the sky, when we flew through some turbulence on the way over here. But really, can you PLEASE go away now!?!? You see, I am supposed to be making pictures of great moments in GREAT LIGHT. You are being selfish and have kept the great light, actually, ALL the light, to yourself for the past week. Can you please share it? Pretty please with cream and sugar? Even if it’s for just a couple hours a day, I will be ever so grateful.
Thank you … Steph
Vog: an air pollution condition formed when sulfur dioxide and other gases emitted by an erupting volcano react with oxygen and moisture in the presence of sunlight.

This is what I was driving through yesterday. This is intense vog. And no, the road doesn’t go downhill, there is just no visibility. Vog is common here, but not like this; this is extreme. I know exactly what’s going to happen; the vog will lift for my final 3 days and I will be scrambling. So please, if everyone can do a ‘no vog’ style rain dance for me, it would be appreciated!
